An observation sparked the idea

A friend was planning to buy a smartphone but couldn’t find all the information he needed on the product page. He kept switching between tabs to check specifications, Reddit reviews, and the e-commerce site.

An idea I had for a long time

I was re-building my portfolio and had an idea from a long time of showing my workspace in 3d. It sounded interesting, but interesting wasn’t enough.

The feedback changed my perspective

I shared it on LinkedIn and Reddit and quickly realised that a visually interesting portfolio isn’t necessarily a useful one for recruiters and hiring managers.

So I started again

I kept the 3D version as an experiment and rebuilt my portfolio with a clearer focus on my work, thinking, and experience.
